John Gadzi

Managing Director

John Gadzi has over 20 years banking experience across a number of sectors and regions globally. He is responsible for advisory and investing activities of Sentinel across Africa. He has an extensive track record of advising large corporates, investors and families on various landmark transactions including M&A, fund raising, market entry and divestitures amongst others. Prior to Sentinel, John was a Managing Partner at IC Securities, a pan-African investment bank, and was responsible for its investment banking activities across the continent. John also worked with Goldman, Sachs & Co., Lucent Technologies, Inc. and Salomon Smith Barney, Inc in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland and an MBA, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Harriet (Associate)

Conducts valuation exercises, leads preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution and supports with client engagements. Previously worked as Operations and Logistics Intern with Black Sisters in STEM, leading project management for the firm’s core curriculum and optimizing its day-to-day operations. Holds a first class honours degree in Bsc. (Hons) in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana and a Financial and Valuation Modelling Analyst certification from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI)

Charles (Senior Analyst)

Responsible for conducting market analyses, and developing industry decks, as well as preparing key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. An alum of leading global accelerators, including Techstars, Google for Startups, and Watson Institute, with venture-building experience in Silicon Valley. Holds a BA. (Hons) in Entrepreneurship from the African Leadership University and a Diploma in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from Draper University, Silicon Valley 

Jennifer (Senior Analyst)

Performs financial modeling, due diligence, leads the preparation of key marketing materials and assists with stakeholder engagements. Previously worked with Constant Capital (Ghana) Limited as an Investment Banking Analyst, assisting with data management, market research and reports. Interned with diiVe Consulting, Property Advisers and Architecture Group and Ecobank Ghana Limited in various Finance and Strategy roles. Holds a BSc. in Business Administration from Ashesi University

Mamle (Senior Analyst)

Performs financial modeling, due diligence, leads the preparation of key marketing materials and assists with stakeholder engagements. Previously worked as an Economic Analyst at MCC Economics and Finance Abu Dhabi, specialising in regulatory inefficiencies within the financial services and energy sector, with a primary focus on developed markets. Holds a BA. in Economics with a minor in French from NYU Abu Dhabi

Othniel (Senior Analyst)

Performs financial modeling, due diligence, leads the preparation of key marketing materials and assists with stakeholder engagements. Formerly worked at OMNIBSIC Ghana, assisting the finance team with market research and competitor analysis for the development of new products for individual and SME clients. Holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana

Benjamin (Analyst)

Responsible for conducting industry research and market studies, development of industry decks and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Previously worked at Axis Pensions Trust assisting the Operations Department with collections administration and with Prudential Life Insurance Ghana as a financial consultant. Holds a Bsc. in Actuarial Science from the University of Ghana

Edem (Analyst)

Responsible for conducting industry research and market studies, development of industry decks and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Previously worked at the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute, supporting research efforts, reviewing project documents, and assisting with analysis across various initiatives. Holds a BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ashesi University and is pursuing an MSc in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University

Enoch (Analyst)

Responsible for conducting industry research and market studies, development of industry decks, and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Previously interned with Injaro Investment Advisors, supporting financial and operational analysis, investment due diligence, and sector research for investment evaluation. Holds a first class honours degree in BSc. Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.

Jonathan (Analyst)

Responsible for conducting industry research and market studies, development of industry decks and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Previously worked with Bridgewater Advisors as an Investment Banking Analyst, supporting deal execution across the African market. Graduated magna cum laude with a BSc. in Business Administration from Ashesi University.

Huki (Admin & Compliance Officer)

Responsible for administrative and compliance functions within the firm, including AML and other regulatory obligations. Brings extensive experience in customer service, administrative support, and institutional operations, having previously served as Customer Service Executive at 1981 Clothings, where responsibilities included customer relationship management and maintaining accurate financial transactions. Worked as an Administrative Intern at Graft Foundation, coordinating projects and managing patient communications, and also served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Professional Studies, providing academic support and conducting research. Holds a BSc. in Business Administration from the University of Ghana and is certified by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI)

Rebecca (Finance Manager)

Responsible for preparing financial budget, supporting financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls at Sentinel Global. Previously served as a finance officer in the agriculture, education and FMCG sectors, managing budgeting, sales accounting, stock reconciliation, VAT reporting, and cost controls. Holds a Master’s Degree and a BSc. in Accounting and Finance from Ghana Communication Technology University and University of Professional Studies, respectively, and is ICAG Level 3 qualified.
