John Gadzi

Managing Director

John Gadzi has over 20 years banking experience across a number of sectors and regions globally. He is responsible for advisory and investing activities of Sentinel across Africa. He has an extensive track record of advising large corporates, investors and families on various landmark transactions including M&A, fund raising, market entry and divestitures amongst others. Prior to Sentinel, John was a Managing Partner at IC Securities, a pan-African investment bank, and was responsible for its investment banking activities across the continent. John also worked with Goldman, Sachs & Co., Lucent Technologies, Inc. and Salomon Smith Barney, Inc in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland and an MBA, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Delali Ayikoe

Responsible for financial modelling, valuation exercises, research, due diligence and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Formerly, a premium administrator with First Insurance Company in Ghana assisting the finance department with premium collections and allocations. Holds a BSc. in Accounting, from University of Professional Studies, Accra and an MSc. in Investments and Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

Formerly, a business analyst with Link Investment Group, supporting the provision of credit and fintech services to SMEs in Ghana and Nigeria. Worked as a finance intern at Kosmos Energy Ghana and an assurance intern at Ernst and Young Ghana. Holds a BSc. in Business Administration, from University of Ghana and a chartered accountant certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG)

Responsible for conducting industry research and market studies, development of industry decks and preparation of key marketing materials for deal origination and execution. Formerly Chief of Staff to the CEO and Founder of BlackSisters in STEM, an EdTech platform specialising in Finance and STEM training, contributing to strategic growth initiatives and operations
Previously worked as a business analyst with Herrnhut Corporation, delivering research and operational support for consulting clients. Holds a BSc. in Business Administration from University of Ghana

Additionally, served as a Teaching & Research Assistant at the University of Professional Studies, providing academic support and conducting research. Holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Ghana.
